1. Purpose of the Service
SpaceSift is designed to help you identify and remove unwanted photos and videos from your device's photo library. The Service provides photo and video analysis and cleanup features intended to help users manage device storage.
2. Photo Deletion
Photos and videos deleted through SpaceSift are moved to the iOS Recently Deleted album, where they remain recoverable for approximately 30 days. After this period, iOS permanently deletes them. SpaceSift is not responsible for the recovery window or permanent deletion handled by iOS.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming which photos and videos to delete. SpaceSift provides suggestions, but the final decision is always yours.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Reverse engineer, misuse, or exploit the Service
5. Data and Privacy
SpaceSift processes all photo data on your device. No photos, metadata, or analysis results are transmitted externally. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, trademarks, and materials associated with SpaceSift are owned by or licensed to SpaceSift and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
7. Availability and Changes
SpaceSift may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpaceSift disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpaceSift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost data, lost photos, lost profits, or device issues, arising out of or related to use of the Service. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpaceSift from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may include links or integrations with third-party services. SpaceSift is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles. Depending on your location, you may have additional consumer rights that cannot be waived.
